Obituary for Eleanor Fracchia
Eleanor R. Fracchia, 90, of Hebron, died on Monday May 15, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital. Eleanor was born in Hebron, CT to Joseph and Theresa (Gambolati) Fracchia.
Eleanor worked as a hairdresser for her close friend Carl Walter Linden, at the Linden Hair Fashion Center. She also ran a dairy farm with her brother Edward.
Eleanor is survived by her nephews, James Fracchia, his wife Gail and their daughter Alison, Harold Fracchia and his wife Marie, and Loren Andreo; her niece Elaine Viot; and her dear friend Dorothy.
Eleanor was predeceased by her brothers Joseph E. Fracchia Jr., Edward Fracchia, Loren Fracchia and her sisters; Mary Andreo, Louise Viot and Margaret Slaga. She was also predeceased by and her companion of many years, Waldon “Jack” Polston and her beloved dog Pepper.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 22 at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St. Manchester, at 11:00 am. Family and friends may call on the funeral home at Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm.
