Condolence From: Lisa Fiano
Condolence: My Uncle Rocky was a brilliant, devoted, interesting man. While he was probably the quietest of all of the brothers, he had a devilish sense of humor and it was a treat to make him laugh. He was always affectionate and fun. I have many wonderful memories of times spent at Nappatree, camping with the Gawlaks and at the cottage in Westerly. I was lucky to have him as my next door neighbor growing up. We spent all those years talking over something growing in the garden. Uncle Rocky grew pumpkins to give away to his grand nieces and nephews. He helped build my house. He fixed anything that needed fixing from toys to cameras and lawn mowers. He had an endless collection of parts that could be used to fix those things and, if it wasn't in his collection, he could build it on his own. I have so many memories of those years working at the restaurant. We were busy and worked hard but Uncle Rocky often liked to horse around with us. We were so blessed to have him always looking out for us. I hope that he is at peace and knew that he was loved by all.
